The Care Centre provides local GP and mental health clinic support for South Australian patients who need help coordinating their ongoing care.
What Does the ADHD Care Centre Provide?
Our Care Centre GPs and Nurse Practitioners, with priority access to our treating psychiatrists, manage your ADHD care plan. We see you face-to-face at our Adelaide clinic or by telehealth from anywhere in SA, working from the care plan your psychiatrist recommends.
The Care Centre gives patients a practical health clinic option in Adelaide when they need ongoing GP support alongside specialist ADHD and ASD care.
Who Is the ADHD Care Centre Adelaide For?
- South Australian patients who’ve been assessed and diagnosed by an Akkadian Health psychiatrist.
- Patients whose own GP requires assistance to manage the recommended treatment plan.
- Our existing South Australian patients who don’t have a regular GP and would like to access the Care Centre to review and receive advise of their existing treatment plan.
Care through the Care Centre isn’t part of your assessment package, and a separate GP referral may be required to attend. Additional fees apply.

No regular doctor? We provide GP consultations for Adelaide patients, with a focus on ADHD and associated concerns through a local mental health clinic setting.
How to Access the Care Centre in Adelaide
The Care Centre is based in Adelaide, with both face-to-face appointments at our clinic and telehealth available for South Australian patients who can’t travel or prefer to be seen from home.
To book, you’ll need your Akkadian diagnosis and a separate GP referral to the Care Centre.

GP Referrals to the ADHD Care Centre
The Care Centre exists to take on the parts of ADHD care that need a specialist team. Once your patient is stable, ongoing care returns to your practice.
We only manage ADHD and associated concerns and do not manage the patient’s general care.
